1. Overview
The current app works without a user account or a developer-operated video storage server. It does not automatically send your videos, audio, LUTs or settings to the publisher. It currently includes no advertising SDK, audience analytics or cross-app tracking.
This policy describes the current version. Any new data collection or provider will be described here before introduction. Publisher details are in the Legal Notice. Contact: contact@proresduo.com
2. Data on your device
- Camera and microphone: provide preview and recording data after iOS permission.
- Videos and metadata: MOV files and details such as date, duration and format are stored in the app’s local space.
- LUTs: copies of .cube files selected in Files are stored locally for monitoring.
- Preferences: camera settings and choices are saved locally.
These processes support the functions you request. The current app does not request contacts or location access.
3. Sharing and Apple services
You choose when and where to share a file through iOS. The recipient’s or selected app’s privacy policy then applies. Device backups, including iCloud where enabled, and diagnostics shared with Apple depend on your system settings and Apple’s policies.
When in-app purchases become available, Apple will process payments. The app may verify purchase status and entitlements to unlock purchased content. Payment card details remain with Apple. This policy will be updated if additional infrastructure is introduced.
4. Storage and deletion
Recordings and LUTs remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app’s data. Delete videos from the library after confirmation; imported LUTs are managed separately. Deleting a video does not delete LUTs.
Deleting the app normally removes its local data; offloading can retain it. Exported files, shared copies and backups must be managed separately. Revoke camera or microphone permissions in iOS Settings → Apps → ProRes Duo.
5. Your rights and support
The publisher cannot access or remotely delete your local videos. Information you voluntarily email to support is used to handle your request. Send only what is needed.
For any personal data held by the publisher, you may request access, correction, deletion or other applicable rights at contact@proresduo.com. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority, including the CNIL in France.
6. This website
ProRes Duo adds no advertising, analytics, forms, application cookies or browser local storage to this website. Images, scripts and styles are served with the site. Hosting infrastructure may process connection details, such as IP address, requested URL and time, to deliver and secure the site. Host details remain to be completed in the Legal Notice. External websites apply their own policies when you visit them.
